itisneverlupus replied to your post: Well… A night out with Katie is always…

Finished work, which was full of *headdesk* moments, and came home to a spotless house. Boyfriend had cleaned and I was so happy I almost cried. GOD I LOVE WHEN THINGS ARE CLEAN.

Oh God, I know how…

He has his moments! Like, he’ll set his mind to one particular task and execute it flawlessly, but leave the rest of the house in disarray. Thankfully that wasn’t the case today.

And ugh, work. Totally need a new job. Surrounded by idiots, dealing with idiot customers. I recommend you never work for the government. o.O

Sometimes when I’m cleaning I get way too focused on one thing - like if I’m cleaning the living room and I’m sorting my parents’s dvd collection. The rest of the house’ll be a mess, but damn their dvds are in alphabetical order and separated by genre and country of origin (it’s how I have my own dvd collection sorted).

I’m so tired of taking care of other people, though. For once I’d like to come home and have someone say, “Oh, Kier, here’s a cup of coffee and some food,” or something instead of me coming home and cooking lunch or dinner for the family an then cleaning (I’m online a lot because I’m almost always home cleaning and taking care of the family when I’m not at work).

Pretty much. It’d be nice to get home from work and have dinner organised and not have to think, but I’ve always been the organiser/fixer and it’s my own damn fault for not training the bf up better. He’s one of those guys that just doesn’t care what’s for dinner, so getting him to get meat out to defrost or prep vegetables ready for me to cook when I get home is like teaching him a foreign language.

*sigh*

I need a holiday. :(

I love cooking. It’s one of the few household chores I actually enjoy doing, but I’d love for that one night when the family says, “Kieran’s been doing a lot, let’s make dinner tonight,” to actually happen.

I need a holiday, too. Or an actual summer vacation. I’ve forgotten what it’s like to have the summer off from responsibility because I’m not in school, so I don’t get a summer break. That’s the one thing I miss about school, btw. I miss summer break; knowing you’ve got about two months to do nothing is awesome, and I miss it.

Growing up sucks, and I’ve been out of school (this is including college) for five years… Oh God I sound old when I say that. But I graduated college about half a year after I turned 21… ~____~

Story of my life. Went straight to university right after high school, came out with a bachelors degree just before I turned 21. Been working full time ever since with the longest break being maybe, three weeks worth of time off.

I wish I could just quit being an adult for six months and do nothing. I wish that for once I didn’t have to organise everything and someone else would do it. Maybe I should just have a breakdown. That’ll fucking learn everyone! :p

Have you ever thought about having yourself committed for a while? I have. A stay in an institute would be like a fucking five star vacation at this point lol

Yep, straight out of high school and into Uni is what I did, too. I only have an Associate’s, though. An associate’s I’m not currently using because the economy here is just horrible.

Honestly, sometimes!! I think they’d just take one look at me and go “pffft, you’re not crazy! THAT is crazy! *points to a dude eating his shoe*”

And don’t feel bad, I’m not using my degree either. The downfalls of going into tertiary education straight out of high school is not having enough experience to know what you do and don’t like when it comes to a profession. If I could do it all over again, I’d have got a job first and studied afterwards.
